Arete Ethik Invest AG has over 25 years of experience in the field of investment ethics and ethics research.

In close cooperation with a select group of academics, all companies and issuers are subjected to a comprehensive ethical assessment.

We are proud that we recognized the signs of the times 25 years ago. Our aim is – and always has been – to create quality in our assessment practice and to convince through transparency and objectivity.

We offer qualitative, ethical assessment mechanisms for all those responsible for asset management, such as investors, portfolio managers and decision-makers in foundation management. Nothing left to chance: our in-depth ethics analysis

The PRIME VALUES Ethics Committee bases its discussions and decisions on input from in-house ethics research. The Ethics Research staff are capable of reflection and rely on established methods. They have the following tasks:

Preparation of issuer analyses for the monthly meetings of the Ethics Committee. The ethics research is based on our own research and also uses information from the research provider ISS ESG
Processing the decisions of the Ethics Committee in the internal database and monitoring the investment portfolio from an ethical perspective: as a rule, the analysis of each invested security must not be older than three years
In consultation with the Ethics Committee, the employees of Ethics Research are responsible for the further development of the assessment methodology and for the engagement activities of Arete Ethik Invest AG
